Surfrider Foundation Commemorates One-Year Anniversary of Gulf Oil Spill with Press Conference & Paddle Out
WHO: Thomas Paterek, Surfrider Foundation, Suncoast Chapter, David Rauschkolb, Founder of Hands Across the Sand, Representative Rick Kriseman (D-53), Rip Kirby, USF Coastal Scientist will speak following the paddle out.
WHAT: Join the Surfrider Foundation activists and volunteers, state and federal representatives, and coastal enthusiasts for a press conference and paddle out commemorating the one-year anniversary of the catastrophic Gulf oil spill. Following the press conference and paddle out, Join Surfrider Foundation at the Annual Chapter Conference for special scientific update on water and sand testing along Gulf Beaches.
